The Museum Pass: one pass for many museums.
Visitors collect stamps, badges and a certificate with their group photo right on their phone. No app, no sign-up, no name or email address.
How it works
The Museum Pass is a digital stamp card. Every area of your museum can add its stamp.
Admission
At the ticket desk, a QR code puts the first stamp on the card.

Play or visit
A special exhibition, a guided tour, a workshop or, for example, a puzzle tour with interactive stations: every area can award its own stamp.
Group photo (optional)
To finish, for example after a tour, the group takes a photo on the tablet. A QR code sends the certificate with the photo to every phone.
Come back
Empty fields show what is still to discover. Other museums stamp the same pass, and collected stamps unlock rewards.
Admission alone earns a stamp.
Empty fields bring visitors back. Anyone who only bought admission sees in their pass what is still to discover, such as the puzzle tour.
For a museum network, a partnership or just your museum
Network
Every museum stamps the same pass. Visitors who know one discover the others.
Partnership
Two or three museums team up, such as a museum and a palace in the same region.
Just your museum
The pass brings visitors back to your museum and can grow to include other museums later.

No account
Visitors never sign up and never share a name or email address.
Data stays on the phone
Stamps, badges and certificates are stored on the visitor’s phone.
Tamper-proof
Every stamp is digitally signed, and the pass checks the signature.
Encrypted photos
Group photos are stored encrypted and deleted automatically after 30 days.
Backup as a photo
Visitors back up their pass with a photo of a QR code and use it to restore the pass on a new phone.
No vendor lock-in
Your own or a jointly operated data store, built on the open Nostr standard.
Already in use
At our escape rooms in Leipzig, Hanover and Nienburg, guests already collect badges and rewards with our player pass. The Museum Pass uses the same technology.
All Escape Museum servicesFrequently asked questions
Do visitors need an app?
No. The pass opens in the phone’s browser after scanning a QR code. There is no app and no account.
What if a visitor loses their phone?
Anyone who saved a photo of their backup QR code can restore the pass on a new phone. Without a backup, the pass starts again from scratch, because there is no central copy.
Does it work without interactive stations?
Yes. Visitors then get their stamp with admission at the ticket desk. Badges and certificates follow once your museum offers a tour with stations.
Can several museums share one pass?
Yes, that is what it is designed for. Each museum stamps the same pass with its own mark. The museums decide together, or each on its own, which rewards apply.
