Kids Special - The Mysterious Dr. Seltsam
The private detective Dr. Horatio Seltsam hasn't been seen for days! You're junior detectives who have sneaked into his office to find out what has happened to him. His disappearance seems to have something to do with a bomb warning for Nienburg, but you don't know exactly how. You'll have to act fast, because you only have 60 minutes to uncover the secret and solve the puzzles.
(The room has been adapted for children and made a little simpler, so that they can solve most of the puzzles on their own.)
Fewer than 5 children is also possible on request, and the room will still be rebuilt for you. You'll be charged for at least 5 people, and in this case the accompanying adult doesn't get in free. Please add this in the comment field of the booking or drop us a quick line.

- If, against all expectations, you're not enjoying an experience within the first 10 minutes, you can stop the session without paying.
Group size
- Recommended for 5 to 8 children. If a group really wants to stay together, 9 or 10 children are possible too.
- The Kids Special isn't suitable for groups made up only of children under 10.
- Children under 10 can take part as part of a family or mixed group, with one adult providing one-to-one supervision for each child. The offer is not intended for groups made up only of under-10s.
- For groups of teenagers and children between 10 and 16, an adult supervisor is compulsory.
- Individual children under 14, for example as part of a family group, can book the regular escape offers. Here too there must be one adult for each child, and at least two adults in each room altogether.
- Do also take a look at "VR adventure worlds" as an additional booking option, in case you have a bigger group of children and splitting up is fine.
- One supervisor gets in free (and should join in the puzzling if possible).
- School classes, social institutions and non-profit clubs get a 5 € discount per person if they show a matching ID when they arrive.
Cancellation
- Cancelling up to 48 hours before your slot is free of charge. You can cancel via the link in your booking confirmation, by email or through the contact form, but not by phone.
- If you cancel less than 48 hours before the slot, a cancellation fee of 75 € per room applies.
- If fewer people come than the minimum number of participants of a booking requires, one room has to be cancelled by email. Alternatively you can play the booked rooms with fewer people, but you'll pay for the minimum number of participants of the booking.
Payment
- Book online and pay at the venue (cash, card or PayPal). Payment by invoice is available for companies, institutions and school groups when needed. Private groups normally pay on site. We create it after you have played and send it by email. Paying in advance normally isn't possible, except indirectly through value vouchers, which you can buy online.
- You can change the number of participants free of charge when you arrive, as long as it stays inside the range you booked. You then only pay for the people who are actually there. If the number falls outside the booked range, you need to tell us by email (see also cancellation).
- Please be on time. If you're up to 15 minutes late, we don't charge anything. If you're later than that, you can choose: the full playing time for 15 € per room for every 15 minutes of lateness or part of it, or a correspondingly shorter game at no extra charge. If another group is scheduled after you or our team can't stay longer, there's no choice: however late you are, your playing time is then shortened accordingly, at no extra charge. If you're still not here 45 minutes after the start and haven't let us know, it counts as a no-show (75 € per room).
It goes without saying that we expect you sober and free of any mind-altering substances; using them means you'll be excluded from the game immediately (see our terms and conditions).
