Three formats for different stag and hen groups
1. Classic stag or hen party, small group (2-6 people)
The standard format for the closer wedding group or the best man and maid of honour. One room, 60 minutes of playing time, then a group photo of your success and a debrief. Perfect as an activity block before the restaurant or after a get-together over breakfast.

2. Combo Mode, a large stag or hen group of 7 to 30 people
If the whole wedding group (best man and maid of honour + best friends + extended family) is coming along: 2 to 4 rooms in parallel at the same start time. With the 4-room combo, large wedding groups of up to 30 people can play in one go, and at the end we compare playing times between the teams, perfect with a little bet. The highest combo participant numbers are exceptional capacities with less space per person. Regular limits for individual room bookings remain unchanged.

How it works, from booking to an evening in the city
1. Request a date. For up to 30 people or without special requests, book directly online via the dates overview. As a large stag or hen group of 7 or more, you book online in exactly the same way via Combo Mode, even at short notice (these times are marked orange in the calendar). 2. Choose a room. Three classic rooms: the Detective Room with Dr. Seltsam, the Nienburg Dungeon and Operation Pussycat. Plus ten VR escape rooms at Lange Straße 27.
3. On the day. Arrive on time at Goetheplatz 2 in the town centre, and bring your party T-shirts and vendor tray for before and after the game if you like. Cloakroom, welcome, briefing (15 min), 60 minutes of playing time.
4. Photo of your success + debrief. A photo in front of the Escape Nienburg logo. We'll make the photo available to you digitally.

How many people can join a stag or hen party?
In a single room, 2 to 6 people (3 to 8 in the Detective Room). With our Combo Mode, 7 to 30 people play in parallel at the same start time (2-room combo 7-17, 3-room 15-24, 4-room 20-30), perfect for large stag and hen groups.
Which room suits our stag or hen party?
For stag and hen parties we recommend rooms with a high fun factor: the Detective Room (a detective adventure with Dr. Seltsam, up to 8 people, ideal for bigger groups), the Nienburg Dungeon (a medieval escape, atmospheric) or Operation Pussycat. VR escape rooms are highlights for the tech-savvy.
When does the escape room fit best into the day?
We recommend the escape room as an activity block in the late morning (11:00 am) or afternoon (3:00-5:00 pm). The advantage: an escape room works much better sober than after the third beer, as 60 minutes of puzzling against the clock is demanding. Plan the drinking for afterwards in a restaurant or bar, not before.
Can we combine it with a vendor tray or the usual party games?
Inside the escape room it's all about concentrated puzzling, so a vendor tray or task cards would get in the way, while party T-shirts are no problem at all. But before and after the escape room you have the whole town centre and the Weser to yourselves. A classic run: party games in town in the morning, then the escape room as the highlight in the afternoon, then restaurant and bar in the evening.
What does a stag or hen party cost at Escape Nienburg?
In Combo Mode (from 7 people) it's a flat 26 € per person. Smaller groups in a single room pay 89 € (2 people) to 156 € (6 people) in total, and 208 € in the Detective Room for up to 8 people. Pay on the day (cash, debit card, card, PayPal, Apple/Google Pay) or via a group kitty, the group decides. We can also issue a joint invoice to the best man if you'd like.
How much notice do we need for the booking?
For up to 30 people or without special requests, book directly online. Standard slots for 2-6 people often work at short notice. For large stag and hen groups of 7 or more we recommend 2-4 weeks' notice, as popular Saturday slots in the peak season (May-September) often book up quickly. Last-minute works too: just book online as normal, via Combo Mode from 7 people, otherwise on the room you want in the room overview. Short-notice times are marked orange in the calendar (“On request”). If you choose one of these times, you're sending us an enquiry, and we'll let you know as soon as possible whether it works.
We’re coming from Bremen or Hannover, does a stag or hen day in Nienburg work?

Your own phone photos aren't allowed in the game room (spoiler protection), but in the entrance area and outside at Goetheplatz you can take as many photos as you like.
