Three formats for different company events
1. Classic, an escape room for small teams
The standard format for departments, project teams or management meetings of up to 6 people (up to 8 in the Detective Room). One room, 60 minutes of playing time, then a group photo of your success and a short debrief. Total duration about 80 minutes.
Suitable for: small teams, project groups, board meetings

2. Combo Mode, a large-group company outing for 7 to 30 people
If the whole department is coming along: 2 to 4 rooms in parallel at the same start time. All the sub-teams start together, each team plays its own adventure, and at the end you compare playing times and experiences. A flat 26 € per person, whatever the exact group size. With the 4-room combo, teams of up to 30 people can play in one go, and we spread larger groups over several rounds. The highest combo participant numbers are exceptional capacities with less space per person. Regular limits for individual room bookings remain unchanged.

3. Multi-activity day, an escape room + the Mittelweser region
A whole day in Nienburg for the company: an escape room as the highlight of the morning or afternoon, combined with lunch together at one of the restaurants in the town centre and, if you like, a look around Nienburg (market square, Fresenhof, Wesertor) or a Mittelweser programme (Weser cycle path, a boat trip, Hoya Castle nearby). How it works, from booking to a meal together
1. Send an enquiry. For up to 30 people or without special requests, book directly online via the dates overview. For groups of 31 or more or a multi-activity day, write to us at info@escape-nienburg.de or call 05021 864 10 40. We're happy to reply and will send you a written confirmation.
2. Choose a date and rooms. Three classic rooms to choose from: the Detective Room with Dr. Seltsam (a detective adventure, medium, up to 8 people), the Nienburg Dungeon (medieval, atmospheric) and Operation Pussycat (a science lab, easy to medium). Plus ten VR escape rooms for tech-savvy teams. For mixed age groups we recommend all three classic rooms.
3. On the day. Arrive on time at Goetheplatz 2 in the town centre (VR: Lange Straße 27). We'll welcome your team with a short hello and a briefing on the room (15 min), then you have 60 minutes of playing time. We look after the team by audio and video and give hints if needed.
4. After the game. A photo of your success and a short debrief with the game master. There are restaurants and cafés nearby in the town centre. You'll find information about the Escape & Eat offer on its own page.
5. Optional: make a longer day of it. The town centre and the Weser are right around the corner. On request we'll give recommendations for a follow-on programme in the region.

How long does a company outing at Escape Nienburg take?
The escape room part alone takes about 80 minutes (a short briefing, 60 min of playing time, debrief and photo). If you're planning the escape room as the highlight of a full-day company outing, you'll usually combine it with lunch or dinner together in the town centre and, if you like, a stroll along the Weser. Altogether, plan for about 4-6 hours.
What does a company outing cost?
In Combo Mode (from 7 people) it's a flat 26 € per person. Smaller teams in a single room pay 89 € (2 people) to 156 € (6 people) in total, and 208 € in the Detective Room for up to 8 people. You pay on the day. Payment by invoice is available for companies, institutions and school groups when needed. Private groups normally pay on site. We create it after you have played and send it by email.
How many people can play at the same time?
In a single room, 2 to 6 people (3 to 8 in the Detective Room). With our Combo Mode, 7 to 30 people play in parallel at the same start time (2-room combo 7-17 people, 3-room combo 15-24 people, 4-room combo 20-30 people). Is it also suitable for teams with mixed age groups?
Yes, an escape room is one of the few activities that works across generations. From the 18-year-old apprentice to the 60-year-old managing director, different generations can solve puzzles together. Please check the access and mobility information for your chosen room and contact us beforehand if you have questions. For mixed teams we recommend the Detective Room or the Medieval Room.
We’re coming from Bremen or Hannover, is it worth the trip?
Definitely. Nienburg sits right between Bremen (60 km, 45 min by car) and Hannover (50 km, 45 min by car). Many companies from both cities value Nienburg as a calmer alternative for company events without the big-city bustle, often combined with Mittelweser activities (Weser cycle path, Hoya Castle, a short break on the Mittelweser).

How much notice do we need for the booking?
For up to 30 people or without special requests, book directly online. Standard bookings for 2-6 people often work at short notice. For large teams of 7 or more or multi-activity days we recommend 1-2 weeks' notice. For particularly large groups (4-room combo with 20-30 people), more like 2-4 weeks, as these slots book up quickly. Cancellations are free up to 48 hours before your slot.
