1. Classic Christmas party, escape room for small teams
The standard format for departments, project teams or management rounds of up to 6 people (up to 8 in the Detective Room). One room, 60 minutes of playing time, then a group success photo and a debrief. Perfect as an activity block before the Christmas dinner.

2. Combo Mode, Christmas party for whole departments of 7-30 people
When the whole department comes along: 2 to 4 rooms in parallel at the same start time. All sub-teams start together, each team plays its own adventure, and at the end you compare playing times and stories. A flat 26 € per person. With the 4-room Combo, teams of up to 30 people can play in a single run. The highest combo participant numbers are exceptional capacities with less space per person. Regular limits for individual room bookings remain unchanged.

How it works, from the date to the meal together
1. Ask early. Our recommendation: 4-6 months before your preferred season. Up to 30 people or without special requests, book directly online through the list of available slots. 2. Choose your format and rooms. Three classic rooms to choose from, the Detective Room with The Mysterious Dr. Seltsam, Escape from the Nienburg Dungeon (which fits the winter atmosphere nicely) and Operation Pussycat. Plus ten VR escape rooms for tech-minded team members.
3. On the day. Be on time at Goetheplatz 2 in the town centre. Cloakroom, a festive welcome, a briefing for your room (15 min), then 60 minutes of playing time.
4. After the game. A success photo, a short debrief.

Frequently asked questions about the Christmas party
When should we book the Christmas party?
In our experience, December dates are almost fully booked from October. For your preferred December date please ask in the summer (4-6 months ahead). Dates in November and January (a late Christmas party) are often available at shorter notice and take you out of the peak season.
Can we combine the Christmas party with a meal together?
Yes, that’s the most popular option. From Goetheplatz 2 you’re right in the town centre. A typical run: escape room in the afternoon, then off to a restaurant together or for a mulled wine stop. You can find details of the Escape & Eat offer on its own page.
How many people can take part in the Christmas party?
In a single room 2 to 6 people (3 to 8 in the Detective Room). With the Combo Mode 7 to 30 people in parallel (2-room Combo 7-17, 3-room 15-24, 4-room 20-30). More than 30: several runs one after the other.
What does a Christmas party cost for the company?
In Combo Mode 26 € per person. Smaller teams in a single room: 89 € (2 people) to 156 € (6 people) in total, and 208 € in the Detective Room for up to 8 people. Payment by invoice is available for companies, institutions and school groups when needed. Private groups normally pay on site. We create it after you have played and send it by email.
Can we organise mulled wine or punch with you?
We don’t have a licence to serve mulled wine or punch ourselves. But the Nienburg Christmas market on the market square is only a 3-minute walk from Goetheplatz, so many companies use the escape room as an activity block in the late afternoon and then head to the Christmas market together for mulled wine and a snack.
Can team members bring their families?
Yes, family Christmas parties (with children aged 10 and over) work really well with us. Children under 10 play free in the classic rooms (one accompanying adult per child, 1:1). Our tip: an easier room (Nienburg Dungeon or Operation Pussycat) and the Christmas VR escape room as the highlight for children aged 10 and over.
