Important information

*Fun guarantee!

  • If against all expectations you're not enjoying an experience within the first 10 minutes, you can stop the session and you won't pay a thing.

Group size

  • Recommended for 3 or more people. With some skill and escape room experience, two people can manage it too.

Children & teenagers

  • Individual children under 14, for example as part of a family group, are very welcome and actually a big help when it comes to searching. There should be one adult looking after each child, and at least two adults in the escape room altogether.
  • For groups made up only of children between 10 and 14, please book one of our children’s offers, “Kids Special” or “VR adventure worlds”.
  • Groups of teenagers between 14 and 16 need an adult supervisor with them. From 16 upwards, no supervision is needed.

Discounts

  • Children under 10 get in free. The rule here: at least one adult per child.
  • School classes, social institutions and non-profit clubs get a 5 € discount per person if they show a matching ID when they arrive.

Cancellation

  • Cancelling up to 48 hours before your slot is free of charge. You can cancel via the link in your booking confirmation, by email or through the contact form, but not by phone.
  • If you cancel less than 48 hours before the slot, a cancellation fee of 75 € per room applies.
  • If fewer people come than the minimum number of participants of a booking requires, one room has to be cancelled by email. Alternatively you can play the booked rooms with fewer people, but you'll pay for the minimum number of participants of the booking.

Payment

  • Book online and pay at the venue (cash, card or PayPal). Payment by invoice is available for companies, institutions and school groups when needed. Private groups normally pay on site. We create it after you have played and send it by email. Paying in advance normally isn't possible, except indirectly through value vouchers, which you can buy online.
  • You can change the number of participants free of charge when you arrive, as long as it stays inside the range you booked. You then only pay for the people who are actually there. If the number falls outside the booked range, you need to tell us by email (see also cancellation).
  • Please be on time. If you're up to 15 minutes late, we don't charge anything. If you're later than that, you can choose: the full playing time for 15 € per room for every 15 minutes of lateness or part of it, or a correspondingly shorter game at no extra charge. If another group is scheduled after you or our team can't stay longer, there's no choice: however late you are, your playing time is then shortened accordingly, at no extra charge. If you're still not here 45 minutes after the start and haven't let us know, it counts as a no-show (75 € per room).

It goes without saying that we expect you sober and free of any mind-altering substances. Taking them means you're out of the game straight away (see our terms and conditions).

Address: Goetheplatz 2, 31582 Nienburg (escape rooms and Combo Mode)

Directions: Right in the centre of Nienburg, about 7–10 minutes on foot from Nienburg station. We're in an old white villa directly opposite a fountain, between the two Sparkasse banks and near the VGH.

Parking: There are some free 2-hour parking spaces (with a parking disc) nearby, plus multi-storey car parks and plenty of paid parking. Goetheplatz is central and easy to reach.

Access: There are 3 to 5 small steps up to the entrance, so unfortunately the venue isn't step-free. This room can't be played in a wheelchair (the Detective Room and the Cat Room can, once you're past the steps). Our VR location at Lange Straße 27, on the other hand, is fully step-free. If you have any questions beforehand, feel free to write to us at info@escape-nienburg.de.
