Combo mode Escape Nienburg

2-ROOM COMBO MODE

In this mode you’ll play two exciting escape rooms in parallel, at the same start time. Pick your combination in the options area. Everyone meets at Goetheplatz 2 and is welcomed there together. If a VR room is part of your combination, the VR team then walks over to Lange Straße 27.

These rooms are available in Combo Mode. The highest participant numbers are exceptional capacities with less space per person. Regular limits for individual room bookings remain unchanged:
Medieval Room (Nienburg Dungeon) up to 7 people
Cat Room (Operation Pussycat) up to 7 people
Detective Room (Dr. Seltsam) up to 10 people
VR escape room up to 6 people (at Lange Straße 27). The total capacity depends on the room combination you choose.

Important information

*Fun guarantee!

  • If an experience isn’t fun for you within the first 10 minutes, you can stop the session and you won’t pay a thing.

Children & teenagers

  • Individual children under 14, for example as part of a family group, are very welcome, and they’re often a real help when it comes to searching. Each child should be looked after one to one by an adult, and there should be at least two adults in the escape room altogether.
  • If your group is made up only of children between 10 and 14, please book one of our offers for children, “Kids Special” or “VR adventure worlds”.
  • Groups of teenagers between 14 and 16 need an adult supervisor with them. From 16 upwards, no supervision is needed.

Discounts

  • Children under 10 get in free. The rule here is: at least one adult per child.
  • School classes, social institutions and non-profit clubs get a 5 € discount per person if they show a matching ID when they arrive.

Cancellation

  • Cancelling up to 48 hours before your slot is free of charge. You can cancel via the link in your booking confirmation, by email or through the contact form, but not by phone.
  • If you cancel less than 48 hours before the slot, a cancellation fee of 75 € per room applies.
  • If fewer people turn up than the minimum number of participants of a booking, one room has to be cancelled by email. You can also play the booked rooms with fewer people, but then you’ll pay for the minimum number of participants of the booking.

Payment

  • Book online and pay at the venue (cash, card or PayPal). Payment by invoice is available for companies, institutions and school groups when needed. Private groups normally pay on site. We create it after you have played and send it by email. Paying in advance normally isn't possible, except indirectly through value vouchers, which you can buy online.
  • You can change the number of participants here free of charge, as long as it stays within the range you booked. You’ll then only pay for the people who actually take part. If the number is outside the booked range, you need to let us know by email (see also Cancellation).
  • Please be on time. If you're up to 15 minutes late, we don't charge anything. If you're later than that, you can choose: the full playing time for 15 € per room for every 15 minutes of lateness or part of it, or a correspondingly shorter game at no extra charge. If another group is scheduled after you or our team can't stay longer, there's no choice: however late you are, your playing time is then shortened accordingly, at no extra charge. If you're still not here 45 minutes after the start and haven't let us know, it counts as a no-show (75 € per room).

Virtual Reality

  • If you feel unwell while playing VR, take off the headset and let our team know. You can take a break at any time.
  • If heights make you anxious, we’d suggest one of our classic rooms instead.
  • Our comfortable VR headsets also work if you wear glasses. If your glasses are unusually large, we’d still recommend contact lenses, simply because it’s more comfortable for you. We also recommend comfortable shoes, loose clothing and no up-dos or headwear of any kind. Unfortunately we can't accept liability for scratches or damage to your own glasses caused by wearing the VR headset.
  • The Ubisoft rooms (Pyramid Room and Medusa Room) need both arms, sufficient mobility and a height of at least 150 cm. This doesn't apply to the other VR games.

We expect you to arrive sober and free of any mind-altering substances. Taking them means you’re excluded from the game straight away (see our terms and conditions).

Meeting point: Goetheplatz 2, 31582 Nienburg. You’ll be welcomed together there, the Combo Mode starts there and that’s where you pay. If a VR room is part of your combination, the VR team walks over to Lange Straße 27 (our VR venue in the pedestrian zone) after the joint welcome; all the other teams stay at Goetheplatz.

Getting here: We’re in the centre of Nienburg, about 7–10 minutes on foot from Nienburg station. We're in an old white villa directly opposite a fountain, between the two Sparkasse banks and near the VGH.

Parking: There are some free 2-hour parking spaces (with a parking disc) nearby, plus multi-storey car parks and plenty of paid parking. Goetheplatz and Lange Straße are both central and easy to reach.

Access: There are 3 to 5 small steps up to the entrance at Goetheplatz. After that, the Detective Room and the Cat Room can also be played in a wheelchair, but unfortunately the Medieval Room can’t. The VR venue at Lange Straße 27 is fully accessible. If you have questions beforehand, feel free to email us at info@escape-nienburg.de.
