Short-notice requests are a bit like a treasure hunt. They don't always work out! So it's better to book in good time, ideally more than 72 hours ahead.

Short-notice request - please note the request conditions

Fancy playing with your group at short notice, within the next 72 hours? Then just book the normal way at the room you want. You don't need a separate form for this.

How it works:

  1. Pick your room below or in our room overview, then the day and time in the calendar. Slots within the next 72 hours are marked orange (“On request”). If you pick one of these slots, you send us a request.
  2. If it works out at our end, we will accept the request and you will get a confirmation email with your ticket. From that moment the booking is binding. If you cancel afterwards or do not show up, it costs 75 € per room when there are less than 48 hours until your slot. For short-notice slots, that is almost always the case.
  3. We can accept your request up to the start time. If it doesn't work out, you'll automatically get a cancellation email by the start time at the latest (do check your spam folder!). Please only set off once you have our ticket. If we do not confirm, the request costs you nothing.

Good to know:

  • Cancellation: once we confirm, your booking is binding. If you cancel afterwards or do not show up, it costs 75 € per room when there are less than 48 hours until your slot (for short-notice slots, almost always). Until we confirm, you can withdraw your request free of charge using the link in the initial email, or cancel by email.
  • At least 3 people: we charge short-notice requests from 3 people upwards. Playing as a pair works, but it costs the price for 3. For a genuine slot for two, please book more than 72 hours ahead, which is easier to plan.
  • More than 72 hours ahead (Combo Mode with 3 or 4 rooms: 96 hours), free slots are green and are confirmed straight away. Exception for Combo Mode (7 people or more): if the slot is less than 4 weeks away and starts Monday to Friday before 5 pm, the booking is a request that we confirm by email.
  • short-notice request in the last 72 hours before the start, right in the room's calendar
  • for 2 to 6 people per room and slot (Detective Room up to 8) (we charge for at least 3)
  • up to 60 minutes of actual playing time (total duration: about 80 minutes)
  • one-of-a-kind rooms, furnished with a lot of care
  • puzzle fun and team building
  • recommended average age of the group: 14 to 99 years
  • request easily online and pay at the venue
  • Fun guarantee*

Important information

PLEASE NOTE: do read up on the individual conditions of our rooms on our website.

*Fun guarantee!

  • If, against all expectations, you're not enjoying an experience within the first 10 minutes, you can stop the session and leave without paying.

Children & teenagers

  • Individual children under 14, for example as part of a family group, are very welcome and actually a big help when it comes to searching. There should be one adult looking after each child, and at least two adults in the escape room altogether.
  • For groups made up only of children between 10 and 14, please book one of our children's offers, "Kids Special" or "VR adventure worlds".
  • Groups of teenagers between 14 and 16 need an adult supervisor with them. From 16 upwards, no supervision is needed.

Virtual Reality

  • If you feel unwell while playing VR, take off the headset and let our team know. You can take a break at any time.
  • If heights make you anxious, we'd suggest one of our classic rooms instead.
  • Our comfortable VR headsets also work if you wear glasses. If your glasses are unusually large, we'd still recommend contact lenses, simply because it's more comfortable for you. We also recommend comfortable shoes, loose clothing and no up-dos or headwear of any kind. We can't accept liability for scratches or damage to your own glasses caused by wearing the VR headset.
  • The Ubisoft rooms (Pyramid Room and Medusa Room) need both arms, sufficient mobility and a height of at least 150 cm. This doesn't apply to the other VR games.

Discounts

  • Children under 10 get in free. The rule here: at least one adult per child.
  • School classes, social institutions and non-profit clubs get a 5 € discount per person if they show a matching ID when they arrive.

Cancellation

  • Cancelling up to 48 hours before your slot is free of charge. You can cancel via the link in your booking confirmation, by email or through the contact form, but not by phone.
  • If you cancel less than 48 hours before the slot, a cancellation fee of 75 € per room applies.
  • If fewer people turn up than the minimum number of participants of a booking allows, one room has to be cancelled by email. Alternatively you can play the booked rooms with fewer people, but you'll pay for the minimum number of participants of the booking.

Payment

  • Book online and pay at the venue (cash, card or PayPal). Payment by invoice is available for companies, institutions and school groups when needed. Private groups normally pay on site. We create it after you have played and send it by email. Paying in advance normally isn't possible, except indirectly through value vouchers, which you can buy online.
  • You can change the number of participants free of charge when you arrive, as long as it stays inside the range you booked. You then only pay for the people who are actually there. If the number falls outside the booked range, you need to tell us by email (see also cancellation).
  • Please be on time. If you're up to 15 minutes late, we don't charge anything. If you're later than that, you can choose: the full playing time for 15 € per room for every 15 minutes of lateness or part of it, or a correspondingly shorter game at no extra charge. If another group is scheduled after you or our team can't stay longer, there's no choice: however late you are, your playing time is then shortened accordingly, at no extra charge. If you're still not here 45 minutes after the start and haven't let us know, it counts as a no-show (75 € per room).

It goes without saying that we expect you sober and free of any mind-altering substances, the use of which leads to immediate exclusion from the game (see our terms and conditions).

Venues: The escape rooms (Dungeon, Pussycat, Dr. Seltsam) and Combo Mode are at Goetheplatz 2, 31582 Nienburg. The VR escape rooms and the VR adventure worlds are at Lange Straße 27, 31582 Nienburg (VR location, pedestrian zone). When you make your request, you'll see the right place for each offer.

Getting here: Both houses are right in the centre of Nienburg: from Nienburg station it's about a 7–10 minute walk to Goetheplatz and 15–20 minutes to Lange Straße. At Goetheplatz we're in an old white villa directly opposite a fountain, between the two Sparkasse banks and near the VGH.

Parking: Near Goetheplatz there are some free 2-hour parking spaces (with a parking disc), plus multi-storey car parks and plenty of paid parking. For Lange Straße (pedestrian zone), the nearby multi-storey car park is best, or park outside the pedestrian zone and walk about 5 to 10 minutes.

Access: There are 3 to 5 small steps up to the entrance at Goetheplatz (once you're inside, the Detective Room and the Cat Room can also be played in a wheelchair, the Medieval Room can't). The VR location at Lange Straße 27 is fully step-free.
